CERVICAL SCREENING AWARENESS AND PROMOTION
The PPG have assisted the practice with its cervical screening awareness weeks in January and June of each year. To highlight the importance Darwen GP Practices and their PPGs are promoting Cervical Cancer Screening and have developed a leaflet describing the importance of the test – It may save your life. Please click to download our practice leaflet

Healthy Darwen

HEALTHY DARWEN DAY

The Patient Participation Group came up with the idea that a Health Promotion Event would raise awareness of services available in Darwen. With the help and support from the practice,  14  service providers  and Whitehall Hotel providing the accommodation free of charge the Healthy Darwen Day was born.
